August 2nd, 2007 - DOK Kingdom is released!  Sheesh I'm 2 days into August and eating through my badwidth quota.  It will be up on file front  soon and hopefully before I go over.  Its not without its glitches.  I left a few typos in there.  Perhaps a patch is in order, but I need a little rest first.  I think some people might not know whats coming as they play DOW Kingdom, so I'll lay out a few tips that players might keep in mind.  I assume anyone playing this has played through Dark Crusade, so as the game progresses the battles get very tough.  You will face up to seven ai opponents an any map, even the smaller ones.

DOWKINGDOM TIPS

Take COVER!  The twisted ruins will provide heavy cover for your troops.  However the same areas that provide protection have impassable spots which slow troop movement and navigation.

Build up your honor guard.  You get a bigger honor guard because you will need it to survive.  The prices are the same so you must budget your wealth.  Pause a turn or two if your forces are depleted.

Beware the invading forces!  The armies that move across the Astor cityscape can come into a small map with crushing strength.  Defending a map against a strong army is a difficult task.  You have more of an advantage attacking with a strong honorguard and claiming territories.

Build up your base! If you get caught away from a map and a large army rolls in your only chance for keeping that is to have the map well tacked down with multiple HQs and defenses.  If you defend a base successfully, try to build up defenses for the next attack, before you finish the enemy.

Attack aggressively.  Once you have a decent Honor Guard dont hesitate once you attack a map.  Immediately set out and try to smash one of the opponent bases right away.  When facing many AI enemies is important to take out the number of opponents fast or you'll get sacked.

July 31, 2007 - ANNOUNCING DAWN OF WAR : KINGDOM, a customized Metamap single player mod for Dark Crusade.

In the Kingdom campaign you must gain control of a large stretch of Dead World urban terrain.  In the center lies the Kingdom, a Light Assault Cruiser of the Space Marines that has been forced to land on Astor 37.  This planet was once a thriving forge world, but was declared unfit for habitation several centuries ago.  Now massive armies will battle for control of the Kingdom!!!  It was struck down by the necron armada, but now the spoils of the kingdom are up for grabs in a no holds barred DC war!

This is a map pack with 31 skirmish maps as well.  Each of the 25 metamap territories is playable in skirmish.  In addition there are 6 large 1024 size maps that allow you to play across multiple campaign maps

                 !

WILL BE UPLOADED TONIGHT!!!!
